Kennewick High School

Opens 2021 | Cost Est.: $112 M (Local $56 M, State $56 M)

Need: The current school opened in 1951 -- that makes it 68 years old. Kennewick High students have outgrown the current building and it's time to expand its capacity. It's increasingly difficult to maintain the outdated infrastructure and offer students the modern learning opportunities they deserve.

  • Replace current building with a two-story school designed for up to 2,000 students
  • Connect new building to existing Lion's Den gym and remodeled auditorium
